Hey Y'all!

Styled by Sequins blog is a Fort Worth - Dallas fashion blog that offers a trendy, southern, teacher style with a dash of sequins of course. Above all else, I hope to encourage you to spread a little bit of sparkle where ever you go!

Today on the blog, I'm going out of my comfort zone and featuring this super cute look. When it comes to going out of your comfort zone with clothes, it can leave you feeling a little timid. As a fashion blogger, I know what works for me and what doesn't. However, sometimes I don't know if it will because I haven't explored that certain style before. These pants are a perfect example of that. This was a fashion risk I was ecstatic to take! I have seen celebrities and the First Lady rock these culottes like it's their job... see it here

Just like Melania Trump, I love culottes too! She's been seen wearing them the last 6 times the past 6 months... y'all I bet I'll right up there with her. Call me crazy, but these pants are so perfect, casual, but classy! These darling pants are from The Mint Julep Boutique. This darling boutique is top fav! I love shopping The Mint for all occasions! Shop it here
I styled these bottoms with a darling cold should ruffle tank. (Which worked perfectly with these bottoms!) I love how this top is light and airy for summer. I totally could transition this top into fall by pairing it with a jean jacket! Don't y'all love pieces that can be worn in more than one season? I know I do. Did I mention that this cute top is from Chicory Lane Boutique!? Shop it here

The necklace I wore with this outfit is from Starfish Project and the earrings are from Lisi Lerch!  Y'all I'm obsessed with everything Starfish Project... I'll share more on the blog about this amazing company soon, but check out their mission statement. It will make you tear up!

Since summer is almost over... the best part of my summer break was when Colin and I are celebrated our one year anniversary in the great Texas Hill Country! Let's just say it was magical! I seriously didn't realize how beautiful Texas truly was, until we drove almost 5 hours and explored a whole new aspect of this great state we live in. We had a blast exploring the historical town of Fredericksburg, drinking plenty of wine at the wineries, having a relaxing time at the spa, and most importantly spending time with my husband. He works so hard and I don't know what I would do with out him. He is my rock and always has me laughing. My love for him is so strong! Okay, enough of my gushy love story. If y'all have a chance to visit this beautiful place, I highly recommend it... I just might go back!
Have a sparkly day pretties!
Love from the South,
Kirstin
