Happy Thanksgiving friends!

This outfit is so adorable and VERY comfortable! My dress, scarf, and earrings are from Francescas and are super affordable too. When I wear this dress, I get so many compliments! Y'all this sleeve is SO ADORABLE, I can't stop raving about it. I love the soft fabric and the grey color is very flattering. Y'all can style this dress with OTK boots, booties or just about any pair of shoes!  I paired this outfit with Steve Madden loafer flats, which I love! They do run a little small, but I still got my true size. They will stretch out a tad bit. I found these shoes at the outlet Steve Madden store. I linked this same style, but different color below. My earrings add the perfect about of statement to the outfit and are not too heavy. I always love wearing a cute statement earring with any outfit. It adds great detail to any basic. ** warning- I'm about to get real personal on the blog here... tear tear...**

This week we are in Carlsbad (where I grew up) celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday with my family. I always love coming home to enjoy the holidays. However, when life has it's challenging times, it sometimes is not always easy to come home. The past couple of days, Colin and I have struggled with communication. My parents know how this struggle has been a big burden on me. It hasn't been easy for us coming home to my parents who are super protective. Together, Colin and I have learned that trust, communication, endless love, and being open with each other will kept our life together "good." My parents have struggled with "our hard times" too (which shouldn't be that way) however, that's just how has it has been for us. Throughout the hard times and bad times, love, communication, trust, and our relationship with the Lord, has really kept us going. I'm so blessed to have a loving, supportive, forgiving husband who loves me for all my faults. He sets high expectations for me and pushes me to be a better person. I'm so lucky to have him as my husband, regardless of the ups and downs we may have. We look at these struggles as a blessing because we grow as a couple and family. Here's my advice if you're in a relationship that has ups and downs, you should never get discouraged. Marriage is work and work that y'all should LOVE doing. For us, we both wouldn't want it any other way!

So on this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the family I have, the loved ones who give endless love, and the blessings God has given me. I'm so lucky to have a husband who loves me for me and a family who's always there for me. My heart is full of love and is extremely grateful. On this day, I encourage you to look at your life and see all the good in it. No matter what you may be going through, there is always good. Take a step back and look in. God is so good.

Have a GREAT Turkey day! Shop my Thanksgiving outfit below from Francescas!
